Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer is an American actor. She was born on August 4th of 1981. She is most well-known for her performances in the movies Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful It Is Where I Leave You as well as in the TV seriesAngela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. She currently stars as Amantha Holden in her role on the Sundance Channel show, a drama called Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer works as an actor in television and films. She rose to fame with the roles she portrayed in the drama series Rectify. She is a native of Gulf Breeze, Florida. She began her acting career on the soap-opera All My Children. For her work she received the Soap Opera Digest Award as Outstanding Female newcomer. In the following years, she mostly played guest roles in a number of television series. The role she played as the Dr. Erin Jameson on the show Hawthorne received her praise. As time went on, her gorgeous looks and impressive acting skills made her an ideal candidate for a loyal fan base. Her debut film came at about twenty when she was in Campfire Stones. In addition, she has appeared in Jekyll This Means War, Chasing Mavericks as well as other films. In recognition of her performance in Beautiful Now she received a Madrid International Film Festival Award nomination. Most recently, Spencer played Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. It has been well-received by critics and Spencer's role has resulted in her being nominated in the Teen Choice Award.
